What attracted you to Starbucks?

I liked the fact that although Starbucks was established, it was a fairly young company in the UK.  I also love that I get to work with great coffee, in an excellent atmosphere in a job that gives me flexible hours.

Can you briefly describe your current role within the organisation?

As a Store Manager I make sure that as a team we’re performing as well as we can – delivering legendary service and amazing beverages.

What do you love most about your job?

I love it when a customer approaches me and compliments me on great service and how friendly the team is – that just makes my day.

What support and training opportunities have you had since joining?

The training is great.  It’s ongoing and covers everything from the day to day running of my store as well as the best ways to maximise profit.

And finally, if you had to describe Starbucks as one of your coffees, what would it be, and why?

It has to be a Grande Vanilla Cappuccino. As a drink it’s fun, hot and sharp. I think this sums up Starbucks nicely – both its people and as a business.
