What attracted you to Starbucks?

Starbucks has always been my favourite coffee shop and I loved the idea of working here. I have a real passion for coffee - especially Starbucks coffee!

Can you briefly describe your current role within the organisation?

I’m a Barista and I really enjoy this role. Whether I’m working at the bar or on the till, I’m always having new experiences as I get to know my customers.

What do you love most about your job?

I love working with the public and meeting new people – which means no two days are ever the same.

What support and training opportunities have you had since joining?

At the moment I’m completing my Barista training. I’d like to progress within the company, either as a Coffee Master or take on more responsibility as a Shift Supervisor.

And finally, if you had to describe Starbucks as one of your coffees, what would it be, and why?

I’ve tried every coffee we have to offer. I’d probably liken Starbucks to a Caramel Macchiato, as it’s a mellow drink with a sweet taste. Every mouthful has a different flavour – a bit like working at Starbucks as every day is different.
