Bean Stock - stock option scheme
Bean Stock is a scheme that makes all our partners shareholders in the business. Restricted Stock Units (RSU) are awarded every year to all partners based on their role and eligibility. After one year 50% of your shares are released to you with the remaining 50% being released to you over the next two years (25% year two and 25% year three). It’s up to you if you hold on to your shares or sell them: the choice is yours.

Each week, you'll get the choice of taking home one of either a bag of one of our fantastic whole bean coffee, a box of Tazo® tea or a 12 pack of VIA ® Ready Brew.

Beyond the basics, we do like to make sure we give ourselves the chance to say 'well done'. We have a number of recognition rewards (just for starters, we've got our Moves of Uncommon Greatness or M.U.G Award, the Bravo Award, Spirit of Starbucks Award). We have daily awards, quarterly awards and yearly awards so that every day, we get the chance to show our appreciation of each other - whether that's for something small that's made a real difference on that particular day, or ultimately to recognise someone who's been a star the whole year.
Loyal Service - three cheers!
And finally, we always appreciate and reward those who stay with us. We like any excuse for celebrating, so we reserve an extra special big thank you for loyal service. Our awards are for five, 10 and 15 years' service and 2010 saw our first “10 Year Club” event - where 65 partners with 10 years or more service spent the day at the Support Centre with our senior leadership team. They were transported to a top London venue where they enjoyed a lavish meal before spending the evening together dancing and enjoying a bit of champagne! We look forward to welcoming more partners to the 10 Year Club in 2011.
